How long does each therapy session take?

A therapy sessions is 50 minutes long.  

How long does therapy treatment last?

This depends on each client’s unique situation and needs. I find most clients see positive changes and improvement after about 6-8 sessions.

What kind of clients do you work with?

 Adult Individuals and Couples

What psychological  approaches do you use?

I use a variety of psychological approaches including: Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Existential Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Solution Focused Therapy. Together we can learn and practice new strategies for coping and managing daily life and relationships.

How do I cover the cost of therapy?

  • Payment can be made by credit card or e-transfer (snowballtherapy@gmail.com).
  • Psychotherapy sessions are covered by many extended health benefit insurance providers. Please contact your benefits provider to verify coverage.
  • Revenue Canada considers Psychotherapy services a medical expense tax credit. Fees not covered by a benefits plan might be eligible for an income tax return.
